Novak Djokovic beat Stefanos Tsitsipas to win his 10th Australian Open title, equal Rafael Nadal's 22 Grand Slam crowns, and return to world No 1 status.
The 35-year-old Serbian player overcame a hamstring injury and off-court controversy to defeat the Greek third seed in three sets.

Djokovic, who missed last year's tournament due to his COVID-19 vaccination stance, climbed to the top for the first time since June, overtaking Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz.
The win also put Djokovic level with Nadal on a record 22 Slams, two ahead of Roger Federer. Nadal, who made a shock second-round exit, is targeting a return for the clay-court season and another crack at the French Open.
