'Avatar 5' Journey: Setting Epic 2031 Cinematic Release

Following the resounding success of Avatar 2, which captivated fans of the series worldwide, the highly anticipated continuation of the franchise is, unfortunately, experiencing its customary delays.

Despite the immense fan base that eagerly awaits each instalment, the Avatar series has faced persistent postponements.

While viewers rejoiced at the release of the second movie after a prolonged wait, the adventure is far from over.

In an announcement made by Disney this week, the release date for Avatar 3 has been pushed from December 2024 to December 2025.

Consequently, the projected release dates for the fourth and fifth movies in James Cameron's extraordinary fantasy series have been rescheduled to December 2029 and 2031, respectively.

Each instalment of Avatar entails a thrilling yet monumental endeavour, demanding ample time to achieve the exceptional quality that both the filmmaking team and the audience expect.

The dedicated team is tirelessly working towards the highly anticipated return to the awe-inspiring world of Pandora, scheduled for December 2025.

Saldaña, who plays Neytiri in the blockbuster series, reacted to the news in her Instagram story, writing: Great! I'll be 53 when the last Avatar comes out (shocked face emoji).

"I was 27 when I shot the first Avatar," added the now 44-year-old actor.

On the other hand, 46-year-old Sam Worthington, who plays Jake Sully in the series, will be 55 when the last Avatar movie is released.
