Veteran Nollywood actor, Bolaji Amusan aka Mr. Latin has cautioned Nigerian political office holders against utterances capable of dividing the country.
Mr. Latin who doubles as the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN), in a statement on Tuesday, stressed that the greatest enemies Nigeria has are poverty and hunger.
He urged the leaders to embrace unity irrespective of their cultures, religious backgrounds, and political affiliations.
“It is getting clearer that Nigeria needs to be united more than ever and our leaders must play their role in ensuring that Nigerians live in peace and harmony.”
“Our leaders must desist from making utterances that are capable of setting the country on fire; they must always preach unity, peace, and harmony.”
“Our common enemy is hunger, poverty, and COVID-19 pandemic.”

“We must all come together as one and fight these enemies of Nigeria because in unity lies our strength”, he added.
The comic actor who is a native of Gbogan, Osun State ventured into acting in 1988 and has featured in numerous movies.
