Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Richard Makun, also known as AY has emerged the most followed comedian in Africa with 10 million followers on Instagram and over 19.5 million followers on all his active social media platforms.
Ay posted the image of this milestone achievement on his Instagram page. He also posted a snapshot of his social media followership across various platforms -- 2million followers on Twitter, 6.8million followers on Facebook, 10million followers on Instagram, and over 740k subscribers on YouTube.
Celebrating this new record, AY took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to his fans for supporting his brand and making him the most followed comedian in Africa.
He wrote, ” Thank you are supporting the AY brand”.

AY is also the host of the A.Y live show, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Corporate World Entertainment, Nigeria. He has influenced a lot of upcoming comedians through his AY ‘Open Mic Challenge’.
