In reaction, Yomi Fabiyi took to his Instagram to shade some of his colleagues, who according to him, condemned a fallen man because they believed no one can help him.

The filmmaker added that he will always use his sense and conscience in every matter because he doesn't support evil or crime against women and children. Speaking further, he said the focus and attention should be on the mental health of the minor involved as well as her parents.

Another Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, shared his post, and to clear the air, comedian Princess, who is the foster parent of the victim, posted a video to tell her side of the story. Princess went on to slam those waiting for a video to be released.

An angered Iyabo Ojo, shared Fabiyi's post, and asked if he was mad for taking such a stance.

In response, Fabiyi went on Instagram live where he indirectly shaded Ojo.

In retaliation, Ojo also went on Instagram Live to lay curses on Fabiyi and other rape apologists. She went on to certify Baba Ijesha guilty as charged because according to her, she has seen the CCTV footage in question.
