Baba Ijesha's Trial Adjourned Till August 2021

The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja has adjourned the alleged child molestation case against Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

Baba Ijesha's trial was initially adjourned and the date shifted to today after Comedienne Princess, the guardian of the minor alleged to have been molested, testified in court.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo adjourned the trial till August 11 and 12 after Princess was cross-examined by Baba Ijesha’s defence counsel.

Baba Ijesha, actress Iyabo Ojo and their supporters were in court as Princess explained how she set up the CCTV that reportedly recorded the act.

She also stated the minor on two occasions was harassed by a neighbour in December 2020.

The Court sent journalists out again as it did on Monday before playing the video clip, which was said to have captured Baba Ijesha while allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl in the care of Princess.
