Baba Ijesha: Yomi Fabiyi Files Petition, Calls For Arrest Of Princess Comedian

Actor and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi has written an open letter petition to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, calling for the arrest and prosecution of Damilola Adekoya (also known as Princess Comedian).

The petition follows allegations made by Princess in 2021 that her colleague, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, had sexually violated her 14-year-old foster daughter.

Baba Ijesha was subsequently arrested, charged, and given a 16-year jail term.

In his petition which he shared on his Instagram page, Fabiyi alleges that after Baba Ijesha’s arrest, a test was conducted on the victim and ‘SPERM’ was found in her private area, which was not from Baba Ijesha.

The victim accused one Damola Adekola, a close ally and neighbour to Princess Comedian, of having multiple sexual encounters with her over a long period of time, and he was arrested, investigated and gave a voluntary confessional statement to having sex with the purportedly 14-year-old.

Fabiyi also alleges that Princess Comedian, the victim’s foster mother, is an ‘ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT’ and has many cases to answer in this matter if honest justice and procedure are allowed.

He concluded by thanking the public for their attention and asking for the authorities to take action in the matter.
