Baba Suwe's Burial: Disagreement Ensues Between Family, Islamic Clerics

During the funeral of veteran actor Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe on Thursday, a disagreement ensued between the family members and Islamic clerics.

In the Live video recording from the venue which was shared on the Nation's Facebook page, it was seen that there was a form of ruckus over how the actor should be buried.

AllNews Nigeria reported that Baba Suwe died on Monday at the age of 63 after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.

His death was broken by his son on his official Instagram handle.

“This is to announce the sudden death of my father Mr Babatunde Omiidina. The legend and rare gem ‘Babasuwe’ 11/22/21; other details will follow shortly. May your soul rest in perfect peace Dad,” his post read.
