Governor Muhammad Badaru
The Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, has appointed a new boss for the state's Scholarship Board.
The appointment of Sa'idu Magaji as the new Executive Secretary of the board was conveyed in a statement by Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, spokesperson of the state's Civil Service Commission, on Wednesday.
Dutse said the governor's approval was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.
He said the new head of the board, Magaji, until his appointment, was the Acting Executive Secretary of the Board.
"Your appointment to this position is an indication of the confidence the Government reposes in you.
"It is, therefore, hoped that you would put in your best towards the realization of the set objective of the Board", the statement added.
According Dutse, the appointment is with immediate effect.
