Bagudu Approves Reconstruction Of 30Km Road In Kebbi

The Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku has approved the reconstruction of a 30-kilometre road in the state.

The 30km road which is billed at N3.8 billion would take off from the Zuru Local Government Area of the state to Ribah. 

The state's commissioner of Works and Transport, Abubakar Chika Ladan conveyed the governor's approval in Kebbi on Tuesday. 

He said the reconstruction work would commence with immediate effect. 

This was contained in a statement on Tuesday signed by Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser to the governor on Media. 

According to Sarki, the approval was in fulfilment of the campaign promises of the governor. 

The road which is in the Zuru Emirate is one of the major State-owned roads in the area needing government attention.
