Bala Praises Wike As He Commissions Rumuigbo Township Road

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has praised his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, while commissioning the Rumuigbo township road in Port Harcourt.

Governor Bala joined Wike in the state on Tuesday to commission the project amongst others executed by the Wike-led administration.

While commissioning the project on Wednesday, Bala described Wike as a friend, compatriot and a good leader with qualities qualifying him for national leadership. 

He noted that Wike's zero-tolerance for corruption deserves praises. 

This was made available in a statement by Lawal Muazu Bauchi, New Media aide to the Bauchi state governor. 

According to Bauchi, Wike leaves behind legacies and landmarks in the state, saying it amazes him to see the project completed in six months. 

He commended Wike for his outstanding performance in infrastructure, saying his commitment, capacity and sportsmanship should be acknowledged. 

Earlier speaking, Wike said if delivery and provision of dividends of democracy are appreciated, Governor Bala would always be a role model to other governors in Nigeria.

He said having seen Governor Bala's numerous developmental projects in his recent visit to Bauchi, he had never doubted nor lost confidence in him. 

He further appreciated Bala for honouring his invitation while congratulating him on his re-election, adding that Bauchi state would witness more from the governor.
