Bamford's Hattrick Destroys Villa's Unbeaten Run As Leeds Wi

Aston Villa's unbeaten run and winning streak were halted by Leeds United as Patrick Bamford hat-trick ripped Villa's defense into pieces on Friday night fixture of the EPL.

Aston Villa has enjoyed a perfect start to the EPL 2020-21 season after defeating Liverpool, Fulham, and Leicester City.

AllNews understands that the feat of the unbeaten run was peaked when Aston Villa defeated Liverpool a record 7-2 at Villa Park which games some recognition to the team making them a contender in the EPL race this season.

Friday night of the EPL saw the unbeaten run ripped apart by the ever scoring Leeds United after Patrick Bamford scored from an incisive counter-attack.

Former Valencia man, Rodrigo, unleashed a shot which Martinez parried away but Bamford was quick to react lashing home a shot from 5-yards out to make it 1-0.

Villa seemed still in the game until Bamford made it 2-0 with an assist from Klich.

With a curler, Bamford finished with a plum into the top-right corner after turning away from his markers. What a wonderful finish from the former Chelsea man.

The game was rounded up, when Bamford completed his hattrick - combining with Shackleton and Helder Costa, from a crowded position managed to curl another finish past Martinez.

The winner of the EFL Championship cliched all 3 points at Villa Park leaving the host with nothing.

With the resumption of the full matches on Saturday, Villa might fall to 6th on the log with goal difference but still tied at 12 points with Leicester, Arsenal, and Wolves, though with a game at hand.

Leeds United welcomes Leicester on Monday while Aston Villa welcomes Southampton in the next EPL Fixture.
