Bandits have released the Anglican Bishop of the Jebba Diocese of Kwara State, Reverend Aderogba Adeyinka, his wife and driver.
The bandits released the victims on Tuesday.
AllNews Nigeria gathered that the bishop and his entourage were abducted while returning from Ogun State on Sunday.
They were kidnapped while fixing their car which developed a mechanical fault.
The abductors had requested a ransom of 50 million naira on Monday.
Meanwhile, there is no information whether the ransom was paid before their release.
This was confirmed by the image maker of the Kwara State Police Command, Adewale Osifeso.
Osifeso said the victims were released unharmed.
He said their release was facilitated by the deployment of officers in a rescue mission.
As reported by Daily Trust, he said, "Massive deployment of Police personnel for the operation to rescue the victims and the domination of the entire area by the Police Tactical teams pressurised the abductors in freeing the victims.”
