Bank Directors Record 5.3 Per Cent Increase In Income

For the 2021 financial year, the Bank Directors Association of Nigeria has disclosed that  its income rose by 5.3 per cent

Mustafa Chike-Obi, the Chairman of the association, disclosed this while presenting its 2021 financial statement that ended December 31, 2021, at its 25th annual general meeting in Lagos.

“The total income performance of the association increased by 5.3 per cent in comparison with that of 2020 activities.

"A surplus of N13.45 million was contributed to the accumulated fund."

The association also announced the retirement of two members of the board, Onari Duke, a non-executive director of UBA Plc who had served on the board since 2017, and Hadiza Ambursa, a director representing Access Bank Plc

The Chairman stated that it was the desire of the association to ramp up its advocacy drive on behalf of the banks that were members of the association.
