Barcelona Sporting Director, Ramon Splanes Speaks On Messi Transfer At Trincao Unveiling

Barcelona New Sporting Director, Ramon Splanes has spoken on the Messi transfer at the unveiling of Barcelona's new signing, Trincao on Wednesday afternoon to give the first statement out of the club since the announcement on Tuesday night.

AllNews reports the first statement ou of the club through the Technical secretary at the unveiling of new signing Trincao after the bomb dropped about Messi leaving the club.

Splanes said, " We are not contemplating Messi's departure at a contractual level because we want him to stay".

He repeatedly said "the most important player in the world" when referring to Messi and "in my position' showing he has a little say on the matter. He even said "we heard" he (Trincao) will play alongside the best player in the world"

The first statement out of the club has not given much confirmation for Messi staying with the words of the Sporting Director.

Trincao at his unveiling was happy to seal his dream move but "he needs to speak to the coach" (Koeman).

Trincao says "It is time for me to make mine".
