Barcelona thrashed Real Betis 5-0 to go top of La Liga and lay down the gauntlet for Real Madrid, who host Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Joao Felix, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid, opened the scoring with his first Barcelona goal in the 25th minute.
Robert Lewandowski increased the lead of the hosts just past the half-hour mark when he clinically fired home Andreas Christensen's pass which went through the legs of Felix.
The third was added in the 61st minute by Ferran Torrres, whose sublime free kick bent brilliantly around the Betis wall and flew into the bottom corner.
Substitute Raphinha made it 4-0 four minutes later with a brilliant finish into the bottom corner.
The scoring was then rounded off by Joao Cancelo, who opened his Barcelona account with a devastating finish.
Barcelona are now a point ahead of Real Madrid and remain unbeaten after five league matches.
