Elsie Okpocha, the wife of Nigerian comic Basketmouth, has expressed her dissatisfaction with rising food prices.
She questioned the government, asking if they want citizens to leave the nation in a post uploaded on her Instagram account, adding that it is unjust that people have to deal with frequent increases in food and groceries.
According to her, living in Nigeria, which is meant to be Africa's giant, is becoming increasingly difficult, and she pleaded with the government to make the country livable.
"Our dear Government, do you want us to leave this country for you??? It’s unfair how we have to constantly deal with the regular price increment of foodstuff and groceries.
I"t’s getting crazier trying to survive in this country that’s supposed to be the giant of Africa. Abeg naaaa you people should help us and make life in Nigeria liveable", she wrote.
