Bauchi: Bala Mourns Elder Statesman Tata, Others

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has mourned the demise of an elder statesman, Alhaji Tata Alkaleri. 

The governor who visited the residence of the deceased on Saturday to condole his family on behalf of the state government said late Tata lived an amazing and exemplary life worthy of emulation. 

While praying for the deceased, Governor Bala called on the family to continue to pray for him, describing him as a thoughtful, religious and generous man whose life was dedicated to the service of his community and the state. 

Lawal Muazu Bauchi, the new media aide to the governor, made this known in a statement on Saturday. 

In another development, the governor also sympathized with the family of Wazirin Gamawa over the demise of his mother, late Hajiya Nana Aisha. 

Bala said the loss of Hajiya leaves behind pain and discomfort not only to her family but to the entire community she served as a mother to.

He prayed to Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdaus and console what she left behind. 

The governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, state Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hamza Koshe Akuyam and the DG Campaign, Farouq Mustapha.
