Bauchi: BASEPA Tasks Area Managers On Innovation For Productivity

The Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA) has urged Area Managers of the agency to be innovative for improved productivity.

The call was made by the Director General of the Agency, Dr Ibrahim Kabir, on Thursday.

Kabir called on the Managers to put in place mechanisms to promote the activities of their respective offices. 

The Director General spoke during the agency's extended management meeting which comprised Directors, Area Managers, Sectional Heads and Desk Officers of the Agency.

He explained that the meeting was to brainstorm and evaluate the activities of the agency. 

He also appreciated the management team for their commitment and support for the agency's policies.

Kabir noted that the achievements recorded by the agency were because of the innovations brought by the extended management.

He further appealed to them to continue supporting the agency to achieve more.

This was contained in a statement by Isyaka Laminu Badamasi, spokesperson of the agency.

According to Badamasi, the General Manager further charged them to be punctual and work in harmony with each other to effectively discharge their official duties.

He noted that the meeting, which was one of the innovative ideas of the current BASEPA leadership, was to bring everyone together to come up with ideas that would drive greatness for the agency.

Other members of the management team who spoke, appreciated the BASEPA boss for his leadership style while pledging their continuous support to deliver on the agency's mandate.
