The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has been elected as the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Governors' Forum Chairman.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State made the disclosure on Saturday.
Fintiri was addressing journalists after a stakeholders retreat for elected governors and members-elect of the PDP which held in Bauchi.
Fintiri said almost all stakeholders of the party were in attendance.
The new chairman takes over from the former governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Governor Bala won his election for his first tenure under the PDP and subsequently won the 2023 governorship election under the same party, marking the beginning of his second tenure.
In the next four years, he would be serving as the Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the party's governors forum.
