Bauchi Lawmaker's Son Killed By Kidnappers

Suspected kidnappers have killed the eldest son of a member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Dass Constituency, Bala Ali.

It was revealed that the tragic news was shared by the member representing Burra Constituency, Ado Wakili, during the House’s sitting on Tuesday.

The lawmaker while extending his condolences described the murder as "tragic" and prayed that Allah would forgive the deceased and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

It was also revealed that the lawmakers would pay a visit to the member and his family immediately after the plenary.

While narrating what happened, Baballe Dambam said that the deceased was kidnapped by unknown people who held him for days and subsequently killed him.

He added that the development was shocking and disturbing while informing those present that funeral prayers for the deceased has already taken place.
