According to the statement, two of the suspects were students at Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University in Bauchi, ATBU, while one claimed to have graduated from the University of Jos.

Their arrests followed a distress call on February 18 from Abubakar Shehu (pseudonym), a 45-year-old resident of Kuhu village in Durum ward, Bauchi Local Government Area.

The aforementioned Shehu allegedly discovered the body of an unidentified deceased young man on the outskirts of the borders of Kuhu Village.
