The contempt proceedings and all the orders of the conviction for contempt against the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa have been set aside by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The proceedings were set aside by Justice Chizoba Oji on Thursday after hearing an application brought by the EFCC Chairman.

Also, the EFCC Chairman via several internal memoranda had initiated the commission’s internal mechanism to ensure the payment of the sum of N40, 000,000 to the Respondent.
