    Some Policemen have reportedly drowned in a boat mishap that occurred on Saturday during the ongoing By-election in Bayelsa state.

     According to  Channels TV, the officers in the boat were on their way to monitor the conduct of the ongoing By-election in Southern Ijaw Local Government of Bayelsa state.

    However, the number of casualties suffered during the boat mishap is yet to be confirmed.
