Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Khan has backed Julian Nagelsmann to turn the club's fortunes around following the recent run of poor results in the 2022-23 Bundesliga season.

The Bavarians lost to Augsburg 1-0 on Saturday to further pile pressure on Nagelsman due to their poor form, which has seen them slip to the fifth position on the Bundesliga log.

Khan said the board is dissatisfied with the team's performance, but they are behind Julian Nagelsmann.

"We are not dealing with any other coaches now. We are totally convinced of Julian," Kahn told Sky Sports.

"Of course, we are all dissatisfied and in a bad mood.

"We have to get to the bottom of it. And assume that as soon as it starts again against Leverkusen, we will and must fully attack.

"Maybe the belief has taken root in one or two people that you can do the Bundesliga on the side. But that is not the case."

Bayern Munich have failed to win their last four league matches in the Bundesliga for the first time since 2021.

The 1-0 loss against Augsburg was the first time Bayern had failed to score in 87 Bundesliga matches.

Up Next for the Bavarians is a clash against struggling Bayer Leverkusen on September 30.
