Bayern Munich Defeat Dortmund, Clinched Their Fifth Trophy O

Bayern Munich completed their fifth trophy on Wednesday night as they grabbed their 82nd- minute winner from Joshua Kimmich to beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in Germany's Super Cup.

AllNews reports that the German Champions are one trophy away from completing the sextet, the record held by FC Barcelona in the 2009-2010 season.

Presently, Bayern is leveled with the 2014-2015 Luis Enrique's Barcelona that won 5 out of 6 in one year.

Bayern Munich wasted a two-goal lead as Muller, Tolisso scored in the early stages of the game but Dortmund responded back in the first half with Brandt and Haaland's goal to draw level before half time.

Midfielder Kimmich snatched the ball in midfield, played a one-two with Robert Lewandowski, and had his shot blocked before the ball bounced back off his foot and into the net.

Bayern, eager to bounce back from Sunday's shock 4-1 loss to Hoffenheim which snapped their 32-game unbeaten run, quickly raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Corentin Tolisso in the 18th minute and Thomas Mueller in the 32nd.

Bayern has now won the German league and cup double, the Champions League and the European Super Cup this year to make it five.
