On Friday night, BBNaija All Stars housemates came together to pay tribute to the late rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The moment occurred during a Wager presentation in the house.
The housemates were taken by surprise when Jeff, one of the Wager jurists, announced Mohbad’s passing and called for a minute’s silence in his honour.
Jeff stated, “Before I proceed, I would like to ask for a moment of silence for a star, Mohbad, who recently passed from us.”
Some of the housemates appeared confused while others were surprised.
Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, had been shrouded in controversy, leading to police launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
His body was exhumed for an autopsy almost a week after his burial.
In addition to the emotional tribute, the housemates faced a setback as they lost their wager on the same night.
The Wager jurists, comprising Jeff, Bryann, and Anto, evaluated their presentation and judged it to be poor.
