BBNaija All Stars: I would have been disqualified — Vee

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Vee, has stated that she would have been disqualified if she had participated in the All Stars edition of the reality TV show.

Responding to questions in the latest episode of the Moni Talks podcast, the actress and singer revealed that seeing her ex-boyfriend Neo and former housemate Tolanibaj get intimate in the house would have made her lose her mind and be disqualified from the show.

Vee and Neo were an item in the Big Brother house and their relationship continued after the show but was shortlived despite many assumptions that it would lead to marriage.

The Big Brother Lockdown edition housemate noted that she had suspected an entanglement between Neo and Tolanibaj but her suspicion was disregarded by her ex as her being “paranoid and overthinking”.

She, however, stated that the All Stars show exposed what was hidden from the public about the duo, affirming her suspicion that they were entangled while she was in a relationship with Neo.

Vee also revealed that she did not participate in the 2023 edition of the reality show after weighing the consequences of going for the show or not, given her ex-boyfriend and Tolanibaj would be fellow contestants.

“Now that we’ve watched Big Brother Naija All Stars, I feel vindicated. I wouldn’t call it vindication. I would call it more of people seeing that there is always gonna be a bigger picture.

“No matter what you think you see, there is something underneath the situation that you don’t know about. Them [Neo and Tolani Baj] going on that show, obviously, brought it out. And that is the reason I did not go on the show.”

Vee who expressed regret over extending her relationship with Neo outside the competition said; “In my honest opinion, it would have been better if we went our separate ways after the house.”
