BBNaija All Stars: Why I Talked To Cowries On The Show — Ilebaye

BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya has clarified the rumours surrounding her interactions with cowrie shells during the show.

Speaking on Pulse’s ‘One On One’ with host Christy O, Ilebaye explained the reason behind her bond with the cowrie shells she brought into the Biggie's House.

When asked about the cowries by Christy O, Ilebaye stated, “They were for my late brother.”

She further elaborated that she keeps and speaks with the cowrie shells as a way to keep her late brother’s memory alive.

Ilebaye shared the significance of the cowrie shells in her life, saying, “I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home.

“And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me, and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it.

“I was just like, ‘Oh! Let me hold something strong’. It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me.”
