BBNaija: 'He Never Told Me He Was SC', Erica Denies Body-shaming Laycon With His Genotype

Disqualified Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Erica Nlewedim has refuted claims that she was aware of Laycon's genotype and used it against him.

AllNews earlier reported that Laycon, during a conversation with fellow housemates revealed that he is a sickle cell carrier but hides it from people because they will begin to think he is sick.

The 26-year-old rapper said, "My blood group is Sickle Cell, I don’t like to tell people my genotype because I feel they will think I’m sick.”

Upon the revelation, Twitter users felt that Erica body-shamed Laycon because she knew his genotype and shamed him with it.

Recall that a major event that led to Erica's disqualification was that of the 7th Saturday night party.

Erica who was intoxicated by alcohol confronted Laycon, threatening to make him suffer and body shamed him.

However, reacting to Twitter users' claims, Erica claimed Laycon never told him about his genotype and even if he did, she would not have used it against the rapper.

In a video shared on her Instagram handle, Erica, while answering questions from fans, said that "I have been seeing a lot of crazy stuffs on the internet and it's about me saying that I knew about Laycon's sickness and used it against him.

"Come on, guys, in all my staying in in that house, I'm sure you should see the kind of person I am. first of all, I am a very emotional person, I'm very sensitive to people's feelings, if I do things wrong, I always go back and apologise.

"And there's no time I've ever used whatever someone says to me against them because I know how bad I'll feel if someone does that to me.

"Laycon never told me he was SC there's no time he ever said that to me and he himself knows that he never said that to me. Left to me, Laycon was fine, he was alright. It was just bottled up emotions and obviously I was under the influence and that's what happened."

Meanwhile, Erica spoke on other aspects of her stay in Biggie's house, her relationship with Kiddwaya and plans outside the house.
