BBNaija Winner Laycon Brags About Influence In Africa [Video]

BBNaija star Laycon has boasted about his tremendous influence in Africa.

The singer characterised himself as "one of Africa's top celebrities during an interview with show host Chude Jideonwo.

Laycon said that he has been releasing songs since 2012 and rose to prominence with the release of 'Who Is Laycon' or 'Fierce.'

His major goal in participating in the reality show, he claims, was to boost his musical career.

Davido, according to Laycon, was the first to inform him of his huge effect.

“I have been doing music since 2016. I have been releasing music since 2012. I feel like the song that made people say ‘Who is this guy?’ has to be ‘Who is Laycon?’ or the song ‘Fierce’, this song blew up but I didn’t blow up with the song”.

"I was asking for musical stuff while in the house and I was particular about going back to my music.

"I think the first person that told me that I have no idea what was waiting for me outside was Davido”.

Laycon also expressed his worry, saying: "I am terrified of losing my mother."
