#BBNaija: Laycon, Kiddwaya Become First Set Of Housemates To Get Verified On Twitter

Microblogging platform, Twitter, has given 'Icons' and 'Wayademgang' bragging rights as their faves get verified on the app.

BBNaija Lockdown reality stars, Olamilekan 'Laycon' Agbeleshe and Kiddwaya’s verification came in the early hours of Thursday, December 17 with Laycon having 767,000 followers and Kiddwaya with over 307,000 followers.

In celebration, the reality stars’ fans have taken to Twitter to trend the hashtag #VerifiedLaycon and #VerifiedKiddwaya.

On July 22, Laycon also became the first housemate to get verified on Instagram, a few days after the commencement of the show. He’s currently on over 2.5 million followers on the photo-sharing app.

The BBNaija Lockdown kicked off on Sunday, July 19 with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returning for the fourth time as host.

Laycon was announced as the winner of the reality TV show on September 27th, 2020. He went home with the grand prize of 85 Million Naira. The prizes included N30 million naira cash price, an Innoson Vehicle SUV, Dubai Trip for two, a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League Final, one year supply of Indomie noodles, Pepsi, and a 2-bedroom apartment.
