BBNaija Reunion: Tega Reveals Why She Claimed She Was Married

The ongoing BBNaija Reunion is revealing things that the realities stars kept hidden for the duration of the popular show, with Tega now stating why she led fans into believing she was actually married.

In the latest episode of the reunion which aired on Thursday night, the mother of one whose romance with fellow housemate Boma earned her severe criticism said that she separated from her spouse in 2020 but opted to use marriage as a strategy in the house.

Tega said the above while defending her romantic link with Boma, clarifying that she actually stated in all her interviews that she was separated.

"For a fact, I didn’t go into the show as married. I went in as separated. In all my interviews, I clearly stated it. I went in as separated", she stated.

Tega added that she changed her mind when she entered the reality show and introduced herself as someone who was married.

"During our conversations and introductions, I just said well I’m married and I have a kid. That was supposed to be a strategy.

"Getting deep into the show, I then discovered that this was doing something great in a bad way to me", she dished.

On her affair with Boma, the reality star quipped: "To me, everything that was going on between me and Boma was all a cruise."
