BBNaija Reunion: Why I Didn’t Pursue Relationship With Adekunle — Allysyn

During the sixth episode of the BBNaija reunion show, Allysyn candidly shared her reasons for not pursuing a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Adekunle.

Reflecting on her first impressions, Allysyn revealed, “Immediately I saw Hermes, I thought at the back of my mind that he is interesting.

“I mean he looked different and I’m usually drawn to stuff like that.

"On the first day, I also met Adekunle. I felt like he was smart.

“Physically, he is not the kind of person that I would go for.

"It’s not that he was not fine. I just go for people that looked different."

As Allysyn got closer to Adekunle, she began to notice certain traits that didn’t align with her values and preferences.

“Knowing Adekunle from afar and being attracted to the fact that he was intelligent was not enough,” she continued.

“Now getting close to him, I feel like he was a bit too snaky. It’s just him instigating things for no reason.

“I don’t like people that gossip or take people’s problems as their own.

"He was just in people’s drama. I just couldn’t stand it anymore.”

However, during the reunion show, Adekunle expressed surprise, indicating that Allysyn’s revelation was the first time he had heard her real reasons for distancing herself.

Adding to the discussion, Allysyn mentioned that Adekunle had advised her against trusting Doyin, stating that Doyin was not a genuine friend to her.

This further contributed to her decision to step back from pursuing a relationship with Adekunle.
