BBNaija Season 7: Amaka Says She Felt Betrayed By Phyna Over Groovy

Evicted Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Level Up’ housemate, Amaka, has opened up on how the relationship between her friend Phyna and Groovy affected her.

During her media rounds shortly after her eviction on Monday night, Amaka clarified that she is not the type of lady that fights over a man.

Even though Groovy chose Phyna, Amaka claimed that Phyna is to blame for influencing Groovy's decision by spreading false information about her.

She said that because Phyna had pushed her to pursue Groovy, she felt betrayed by the fact that they were dating.

However, she pointed out that Phyna was more deserving of Groovy because she had the guts to pursue and get him for herself.

“If you watched me on the show, I'm not one to start dragging for a man,” Amaka said.

“He already made his choice. I was just mad at her that she put out some narrative to him that made him make that choice.

"Amaka wanted Giddyfia, Amaka wanted this one.

“I felt like she influenced his decision but again, I really wanted her to be happy.

"She deserved him more, I'd always said that.

"She was the one that had the whole whatever to go for him and get him.

“I just only felt betrayed that you were always gingering me to go for this person and you went there, instead of you to bring back the parcel with my name on it, you brought back the parcel with your name on it.”

After Beauty's disqualification from the show, Amaka told Phyna that she has her eyes on Groovy, Phyna also encouraged her to shoot her shot.

Sooner than later, Phyna and Groovy became an item even though Phyna had told Amaka she would talk to him on her behalf.
