BBNaija's Boma Shares Near-Death Experience

BBNaija star Boma Akpore has taken to social media to share his near-death experience. 

The reality star revealed how he contracted COVID-19 in December of 2020, resulting in a severe sinus infection.

He confessed that prior to the infection, he had never had sinus problems that lasted longer than three days.

Boma revealed that half of his right face/nose was obstructed, and he could only breathe via his left nostril.

His only choice was surgery, which was scheduled for April of this year, but he had a movie shoot in Nigeria and a BBN reunion that couldn't be rescheduled.

Boma prioritised his work over his operation, and following the final episode of the reunion, he traveled to New York for his surgery.

Unfortunately, the doctor informed him that the infection had already gone to the back of his head, and that he could go blind or suffer brain damage as a result.

Fortunately, the procedure went well for him.
