Bella Shmurda Drops Debut Album ‘Hypertension’

Following his critically acclaimed EPs — ‘High Tension’ (2020) and ‘High Tension 2.0’ (2021) — Dangbana Republik star Bella Shmurda has released his highly-anticipated debut studio album ‘Hypertension’.

Simi, Phyno, Not3s, L.A.X, Pa Salieu, Victony, and Popcaan make guest appearances on the 15-track project.

Speaking in an interview prior to the release of the album, Bella Shmurda said that the project's theme is love and lust.

According to him, he is in the middle of love and lust.

“The theme of the album is love and lust. Bella Shmurda is in the middle of love and lust. That is what the album is about,” he said.

He added that the artistes he featured on the album are personal people to him.

“These are my people. The people on the album are not just because I want to feature them.

"They are personal people to me that I really feel. Personally, naturally, I feel them. We connect through their music.”
