Bella Shmurda Prays For Yahoo Boys [Video]

Dangbana Republik act Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed better known as Bella Shmurda has generated mixed reactions online after he prayed for ‘yahoo boys’ (Internet fraudsters).

In a video from when he was performing at an event in December 2022, Bella Shmurda was seen praying for his audience.

In his prayer, he asked God to bestow his blessings on Yahoo boys

“By God’s grace next year, we will be here together celebrating in good life, in more life, big cars, big motors.

“Yahoo boy will collect money,” he said.

In a viral portion of Bella Shmurda’s interview on Echoo Room podcast in August 2022, the singer tried to make a case for youths involved in cybercrime.

The 26-year-old ‘CashApp’ singer argued that many people indulge in internet fraud due to the economic hardship in the country.

When asked if he also indulges in the act, the ‘Cash App’ crooner declined to give a direct answer.

“Why didn’t you do it?” the host had asked him to which he replied, “Because I don’t know it.”

Not satisfied with his response, the host further asked “Or you do am?”

This time, Shmurda quipped: “At a point in your life, you have to do certain things. It’s natural, so that’s it for that.”

When he was asked what informed his decision not to indulge in it, he said: “I didn’t say I didn’t do it though.”
