Bella Shmurda and Mohbad
Nigerian artiste Bella Shmurda took the lead in a candlelight procession held in Canada to honour Mohbad and shared what his mother told him about the late singer.
Bella Shmurda, addressing fans at the procession, revealed that he was abroad when he received the heartbreaking news of his friend’s demise.
Shortly after, he received a call from his own mother, who urged him not to return to Nigeria just yet.
Expressing his appreciation for everyone who participated in the candlelight procession, Bella Shmurda conveyed their collective commitment to seeking justice for the late ‘Peace’ crooner.
“This person is my brother, my guy, is my best friend. It’s really sad,” Bella Shmurda remarked.
“I had just left Nigeria barely three days after I received the call saying Mohbad had died. My mom pleaded with me not to return to Nigeria yet. I understand her.
“God bless you wherever you are, MohBad. I don’t know what to say. Thank you everyone for coming and Justice for Mohbad.”
