Jude Bellingham scored his seventh goal of the season and provided an assist as Real Madrid beat high-flying Girona 3-0 to go top of La Liga.
Madrid opened the scoring after 17 minutes when Bellingham picked out former Stoke and Newcastle forward Joselu, who scored with the outside of his right boot.
Aurelien Tchouameni increased Madrid's lead four minutes later when he headed in a Toni Kroos inswinging corner.
Five minutes into the second half, Girona came close to pulling one back but goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was alert to deny David Lopez and Eric Garcia couldn't steer home the rebound.
Bellingham completed the scoring with 20 minutes remaining as his strike found the far corner.
The 20-year-old becomes only the second player, behind Cristiano Ronaldo, to score at least six goals in his first seven La Liga matches for Madrid this century.
