Bendel Insurance manager Monday Odigie has said his players need to be "thirsty for success" in the Nigerian top flight league.
Odigie's remark came as a response to his side being considered favourites to clinch the title.
Insurance extended their unbeaten run to nine games after defeating second-placed Enyimba 1-nil on Sunday.
The outcome of the match meant that Odigie's side are the only team yet to taste defeat this term as they moved seven points clear at the summit of Group A.
“We still have more games to play in the second half of the season,” Odigie said in his post-match interview.
“Winning the league isn’t our priority as we want to focus more on maintaining a high level of performance in our remaining fixtures.
"Our team is young, so they need to be thirsty for success.
"If all this can be done, success will surely come.”
