Akume stated this during a courtesy visit of the group led by State Publicity Secretary of APC, Hon. Daniel Ihomun on Friday, in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.

He noted that the dedication of the team in countering fake news against the party made it possible for the victory recorded in the state.

Akume said, "the party appreciated the dedication, hard work, and perseverance of the team in countering all the propaganda against the party and her candidates by the ruling PDP and for indeed achieving the resounding victory."

Speaking on behalf of the Team, Philip Salemkaan thanked the Minister for always giving the team listening ears and for always standing on the side of the Benue people.

He congratulated the Minister for the overwhelming victory APC as a party achieved in the recent general election under his leadership.

The team through its spokesman, Salemkaan appealed to the leader of the party not to forget his children in the scheme of things and also assured the Minister of total commitment, loyalty and unflinching support as the party pilots the affairs of the state and the country at large.
