Benue PDP Governorship Candidate Pledges Commitment To Peace

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate and Speaker Benue State Assembly, Titus Uba has pledged to ensure a peaceful electioneering campaigns and elections.

Uba made the pledge Monday at the meeting of Tiv Supreme Council held at the Tiv Area Traditional Council chambers, Gboko.

The PDP guber candidate assured that he lives by the motto of his campaign which is "let the will of God be done" and would not do anything that would lead to a breach of the peace in the course of his electioneering campaigns.

He maintained that God is the fountain of leadership and expressed hope that God would use him to make Benue greater.

The commitment was at the instance of the Tiv Supreme Council headed by His Royal Majesty, prof. James Ayatse.

The Council had invited all candidates of political parties for the forth coming elections to make a commitment to ensure a peaceful election in the state.
