The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Honourable Hyacinth Dajoh has visited the Commander of Operation Zenda JTF, Chief Superintendent of Police, Justine Gberindyer in a bid to tackle state insecurity.
The familiarisation visit to the Commander on Thursday in Makurdi, Benue State was set to seek synergy and to protect lives and property of Benue people.
Dajoh who before his elevation had worked under the Command, appreciated CSP Gberindyer for the support enjoyed while working with him and further encouraged him to do more In supporting the government of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr Hyacinth Alia in the area of security.
The Speaker was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Speaker, Lami Danladi, member representing Makurdi North, Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga, Hon. Pharmacist Thomas Dugeri, Kwande-West State Constituency, Hon. Peter Ipusu, Member representing Katsina Ala West and Hon. Shimawua Emmanuel, member representing Kyan state Constituency.
Responding, CSP. Gberindyer thanked the Speaker and Honorable members for the visit and tasked them to do more in making laws and policies that would enhance the optimal performance of security agencies in the state.
The Speaker, Honorable Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh used the visit to Decorate his personal security officer Okpeh James who was promoted yesterday to the Rank of Police Inspector.
