Beyonce's Black Is King Visual Album Nabs Art Directors Guil

Black is King, the visual album from American songstress Beyonce has nabbed an Arts Directors Guild Nomination.

The visual album was released on Disney + in July 2020, and it showcased Beyonce at her musical finest; breathtaking cinematography, stunning visuals, unprecedented collaborations, and unforgettable renditions.

Part of what makes Black is King so appealing is the production design, hence the team is now being rewarded for their efforts.

Black is King was written, directed and executively produced by Beyonce. It serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.

The visual album was produced in the span of a year and was shot across three continents with a diverse cast and crew.
