The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday, claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari "is still fiddling with the hole in his neck", Allnews reports.
50 years after the civil war ended in Nigeria, the struggle to keep the dream of a separate Biafra state alive continues, including through a relentless disinformation campaign on social media.
Pro-Biafran content on social media is usually received with cheers by supporters of the cause. But – the broadcast are usually fiction dressed up as facts. This latest by Kanu could be one of such.
Self-exiled Kanu has always maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead but was replaced by an imposter “Jubril” from Sudan.
The Abia-born lead Biafra apostle has been using Twitter activism to propagate his rhetoric and views among the masses.
He claims that there are some unnamed ‘cabals’ in Aso Rock who are running the affairs of Nigeria.
Recently, the 52-year-old started a Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) update and has continued to use that avenue to lash out at the current administration.

Accompanied with an image of a purported hole in Buhari's neck, the self-exiled activist wrote thus on his known Twitter handle:
As leaders across the globe battle #CoronaVirus & decide on 5G, @NGRPresident is still fiddling with the HOLE in his neck
