Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday slammed Ohanaeze Ndigbo, an apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria and its President-General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, labeling them "evil" AllNews reports.
Kanu fired this shot during his online broadcast.
Nwodo had asked Igbo youths and other pro-Biafra agitators to employ diplomacy in their quest for self- determination.
He said that Ndigbo were not known for violence, advised the youths to continue to maintain decorum and peace no matter the level of provocation.
The Ohanaeze leader gave the advice when he kicked off the distribution of COVID-19 palliatives procured by the president of the youths arm of the group, Arthur Obioha, for the young Igbo.
Reacting to the current insecurity being witnessed in Nigeria, self-exiled Kanu berated Ohanaeze for 'not listening to his warnings'.
"I told Nwodo, that these people are coming. In his house in Enugu. I told Nwodo that these people are coming," Kanu said.
"And out of shame, they don't know how to say we're sorry for what we did.
"We raised an army to defend our land.
"Of course we have them. Under one command."
He continued:
"All of you were there when they sent the army to kill me because I spoke the truth; because I told you people to be prepared.
"You all kept quiet. All of you kept quiet.
"I lost 28 men, my cousin, my parent, and my dog, Jack.
"And you keep deceiving yourself that Buhari (Muhammadu) is there.
"But you know he is not.
"That is why I maintain that the zoo (referring to Nigeria) will implode this year.
"This year, it must collapse this year."
