Kanu, on his known Twitter handle announced Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29th of May 2020 'Biafra Heroes Day'.
We salute the Class of 67-70. The best of the very best! Without them British PM Harold Wilson would have obliterated Biafra & wiped the Igbo race off the face of the earth. We MUST remember them. We must honour them! pic.twitter.com/ZMakJCJieO

Abia-born Kanu has been using Twitter activism to propagate his rhetoric and views among the masses and is resolute about "the rapid dissolution of Nigeria".
As we remember of our fallen heroes, the GREATEST defense against a genocide, I ask all #Biafrans & all that seek FREEDOM, to banish their differences & take a FINAL stand against OPPRESSION. There’s no other way to do this than to seek the rapid dissolution of Nigeria. pic.twitter.com/tkNpLsffwX
