Biafra: IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu Speaks On Meeting Of SE Governors In Rivers State, Makes Threat

Biafra: IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu Speaks On Meeting Of SE Governors

Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu has described as "shameless" last weekend's meeting of South-East governors with the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo and the Igbo community in Rivers State, AllNews reports.

This newspaper understands that recent clashes have been recorded between members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Nigerian security forces in Oyigbo, Rivers State.

Controversial Kanu accused Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi, and Nnia Nwodo, the President-General, Ohaneze Ndigbo of 'openly endorsing the killing of their fellow Igbo people of Obigbo', while continuing his rift with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

Concerning the Oyigbo/Obigbo matter, the 53-year-old Nigerian separatist leader went further and promised to 'finally respond in the coming weeks'.

"Let it be on record, especially for those who always feign ignorance of the fact only to later start spewing their usual trash about IPOB, that your Little Hitler Wike is still prosecuting his Fulani inspired campaign of extermination of indigenous Igbo populations in #Obigbo. This crime against humanity is still ongoing in full view of the world," Kanu wrote on his known Facebook page on Wednesday.

"Over the weekend the shamelessly hopeless bunch of irredeemable slaves led by Dave Umahi and Nnia Nwodo- to all intents and purposes openly endorsed the killing of their fellow Igbo people of #Obigbo. I am yet to hear any condemnation of this abominable stance from any quarters. #Zoo media houses have refused to visit #Obigbo to conduct their own investigations but instead are busy writing pro-regime sponsored articles in praise of the mass murderer Wike.

"Not content with what they are doing in #Obigbo, the same Igbo governors and Ohaneze have now instigated Tinubu and his gang in Lagos to attack and kill Igbo businessmen in Ladipo Lagos. (See the video below)

"Every sponsored e-rat, Efulefu, misguided one Nigerianist, newspaper columnist, editor, ambitious politician, diplomat, army spokesman, police PRO, social media commentator, pastor, Iman and traditional ruler have all gone quiet. I bet they won't be this quiet when we finally respond, which we MUST in the coming weeks. We keep records of every atrocity against Biafrans and at the appointed time those of you supporting the campaign of extermination of Biafrans will yap and gossip all you like but it won't stop nor deter us.

"Frankly speaking I feel sorry for the British manufactured #ZoologicalRepublic. If they thought #EndSarsProtests was tough, then I pray they don't witness what is coming because youths across Nigeria have decided to take their collective destiny into their own hands. No politician will escape the coming judgement.

"I will advise people to stock up on tomatoes and onions because there will be scarcity of these commodities once the revolution gets underway because mentally retarded Janjaweed will seek to undermine the will of the people through cheap blackmail."

Oyigbo Rivers state news: What is it about? Why is pro-Biafra group, IPOB involved?

Authorities say members of IPOB, banned in 2017 by the Federal Government of Nigeria - targeted security operatives in Oyigbo as tensions spilled over following the #EndSARS protests against police brutality in the country.

IPOB is canvassing for the secession and sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria.

Oyigbo is believed to be an IPOB stronghold.

Two police stations and a hospital in the area were burnt on 21 October as widespread mayhem erupted after protesters against police brutality were shot at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.

Encouraged by their leader Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB members are accused of attacking security operatives in eastern Nigeria.

Clashes with the army in Abia state spilled over into the neighbouring Oyigbo town in Rivers state.

IPOB members are accused of burning down three police stations in the area and killing three policemen after one of them was killed during a protest at a police station in Oyigbo.
