Biafra: IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu Speaks On Restructuring

 

Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has declared possible restructuring of Nigeria a "scam", AllNews reports.

Self-exiled Kanu who made this postulation on his known Twitter handle on Monday stressed his call for the dissolution of Nigeria.

 

#Restructuring is SCAM. Southwest that campaigns for it had a chance to get it by voting ATIKU who openly supported, but it instead voted for BUHARI who was openly against it & already showed early signs of Fulani hegemony.

Kanu's IPOB is calling for the secession of southeastern Nigeria.

Pro-Biafrans say the Nigerian government is discriminating and marginalising them, the Igbo people.

The pro-Biafra movement has not stopped for 50 years plus.

Meanwhile, the FG disagrees, saying the country must remain united.

"They say that secession is the answer to the charges of marginalisation," said Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo during a Biafra civil forum in 2017 in Abuja.

"Brothers and sisters, permit me to differ and to suggest that we're greater together than apart."
